- Implementing new procedures and programs for the ACCESS program
- Setting up the new ACCESS classroom and helping the lead instructor prepare for new arriving ACCESS students
This past week I have been maintaining a more balanced life in regards to practicum, class, and my assistantship. The practicum has been going quite well! I continue to be an integral part of the office, and we are now in the implementation stages of the summer. It has been fun getting to start off in the beginning of the summer and plan new programs/policies. It was interesting to see how the revision and implementation stages are working out in regards to the original plan.
This was my last full week of practicum, as I am now at 96 hours as of Friday. It is a bitter sweet feeling knowing that I just have a few more hours left next week. I am excited to be finished, but at the same time I will miss the people and the connections I have made over this summer.
