General Counsel 701…The End of Something Great!

Throughout this week, I have already finished my practicum
hours and did not go into the office. I
do need to go to the office tomorrow and have my last meetings, get my learning
summary signed, and say goodbye. I will
really miss working with these professionals, as this experience made my
Mississippi State experience even better.
Overall, I appreciated the office for its professionalism,
importance, and comfort as a practicum student.
I never felt like I did not belong there, or that my opinion wasn’t
valued, and I really appreciate that as a graduate student. So many times graduate students are looked
as, as less than. In reality they are
adults, and may not have all the experience in the world, but they are still
adults and some people feel like they are better because they have a Phd. I never felt like that at all throughout this
experience, and that is one thing that meant the most.
I will miss General Counsel, and I plan on stopping by
throughout the next year just to keep in contact!
